Once you know which archives and collections you have, you can make this visible to third parties. You can make a number of (top) items from an archive findable, or make the archive available in its entirety. This is possible on your own website or in specialised heritage databases, e.g. [[Archiefbank Vlaanderen]], which lists archives and collections from people and organisations all across Flanders, as well as regional heritage or image databases.
Once you know which archives and collections you have, you can make them visible to third parties. You can op to just publish a number of (top) items, or make the archive available in its entirety. You can do this on your own website or make use of more specialised heritage databases, e.g. [[Archiefbank Vlaanderen]], which lists archives and collections from people and organisations all across Flanders. As an alternative, there are regional heritage or image databases as well.

Eens je weet welke archieven en collecties je in huis hebt, kan je ze zichtbaar maken voor derden. Je kan een archief als geheel vindbaar maken of enkel een aantal (top)stukken. Dat kan op je eigen website, maar ook in gespecialiseerde erfgoeddatabanken. Zo is er de [https://www.archiefpunt.be/ ''Archiefbank''], die archieven en collecties van personen en organisaties over heel Vlaanderen in kaart brengt. Daarnaast zijn er ook regionale erfgoed- of beeldbanken.
