Registering your archive or collection in the Archiefpunt vzw Archiefbank Vlaanderen database is a simple and accessible way to greatly increase its public visibility.

What is the Archiefbank?
The Archiefbank is a database that collects information about archives and collections of individuals, families, private associations, bodies, companies and institutions. Archives and collections of artists and arts organisations have also been included. Anyone who wants to can enter information about their archives and/or collection(s) in the Archiefbank.
Note: The Archiefbank only registers the archives and collections. It does not serve as a storage place.
How to register?
Do you know what your archive and/or collection consists of and where it is located? Have you made a description of your archive and/or collection(s) at the archive of collection level?
Then you can enter your archive or collection in the Archiefbank yourself. Go to this link and fill in the form. The form includes handy instructional videos that guide you step by step.
