MOVIO kan gebruikt worden als een eenvoudige toolkit om digitale tentoonstellingen en verhalen te creëren. Het werd in eerste instantie ontwikkeld voor gebruik in musea en andere cultureel-erfgoedinstellingen, maar kan ook gebruikt worden door anderen.
