This privacy statement explains how meemoo can process your personal data when you use this TRACKS website. You can find our general privacy statement here: https://meemoo.be/en/privacy-policy. For any additional information or questions about how meemoo processes your personal data, please contact meemoo’s data protection officer via privacy@meemoo.be. You can also use this email address for any comments, suggestions and/or to exercise the rights granted to you by the regulations.

What personal data do we process and why?

When you contact us, you give us permission to process the personal data that you have provided to us on the contact form. These details are necessary to enable communication between you and us. We exercise our legitimate interest to contact you proactively with questions of any kind related to your original request.

How long is your data stored?

We will store all the personal data that we collect from our interactions with you via the website for as long as is necessary to communicate with you, and also to keep a historical archive of our communication. This enables us to refer back to our earlier communications if you come back to us with new queries, requests, comments or other input.

What data do we share with third parties?

We may share your personal data with employees of the other TRACKS partners and the suppliers that help us to process your personal data. We always sign a data protection agreement with these suppliers. Anyone with access to your personal data will always be bound by legal and/or contractual obligations to process your personal data securely and confidentially. Your personal data is not sent outside of the European Economic Area (EEA) by us in principle (the European Economic Area consists of the EU, Liechtenstein, Norway and Iceland), unless: (1) this country has been placed on the ‘white list’ on the basis of an adequacy decision from the European Commission, (2) we take sufficient safeguards to protect your personal data during transfer (e.g. by making an agreement based on standard contractual clauses such as those drawn up by the European Commission) or (3) there is a possibility of a specific situation for which the GDPR provides an exemption.

What do we do to ensure your personal data is stored securely?

The security and confidentiality of all the data we process is very important to us. We have therefore taken measures to ensure that all processed personal data is stored securely. Among other things, these steps include only processing the personal data that is required to achieve the purposes we have informed you of. We have also taken technical and organisational measures to protect our infrastructure, systems, applications, premises and processes. You will understand that these technical and organisational measures can contain confidential information about our organisation that we don’t want to disclose publicly. You can always contact us, however, if you would like more information about this.

What rights do you have?

You have various rights for the processing of personal data:

  • the right to inspect your personal data;
  • the right to improve your personal data;
  • the right to delete your personal data;
  • the right to restrict the processing of your personal data;
  • the right to obtain and transfer the personal data that you have provided to another party;
  • the right to object to the processing of your personal data and automated decision-making.

You can send requests to exercise your rights to meemoo’s data protection officer. Please send such a request by email to privacy@meemoo.be. Only when necessary to verify your identity, we may ask you to provide a copy of both sides of your identity card before we proceed with your request. The data protection officer will check that you can indeed exercise the right in question, and that there are no legal impediments to granting your request. If the latter is the case, this will be communicated in a substantiated manner.
