On 29 June 2012, Amortale had its première at the Festival van de Verwondering. It was a show in which a selection from this incredibly beautiful heritage was re-used. Since then the circus company has been travelling for almost two years throughout Belgium and Europe, amazing audiences with the art of this longstanding craft, the painting of backcloths. Danny Ronaldo: “These days you can print out fantastic things, but these backcloths are hand-painted, there are wonderful transparent painted bits of forest, which give amazing effects when you shine light through them. Op 29 juni 2012, ging Amortale in première op het Festival van de verwondering. Het werd een voorstelling waarin een selectie van dit wondermooie erfgoed opnieuw werd ingezet. Intussen reist het circusgezelschap al bijna twee jaar door België en Europa en verwonderen ze het publiek met de kunst van dit aloude ambacht, het decorschilderen. Danny Ronaldo: "Tegenwoordig kun je fantastische dingen uitprinten, maar die decors zijn met de hand geschilderd, er zitten wonderlijke transparante  geschilderde stukken bos bij, waardoor je met belichting  mooie effecten krijgt.
