Il s'agit d'un outil bien intégré dans la communauté du patrimoine culturel. À titre d'exemple, les dossiers d'archives introduits dans ODIS apparaissent automatiquement dans la Banque d'archives. Il n'est pas possible d'introduire soi-même ses archives et/ou collections. Het is een instrument dat goed geïntegreerd is in de cultureel-erfgoedgemeenschap. Archiefbestanden die in ODIS ingevoerd worden, verschijnen bijvoorbeeld automatisch in de Archiefbank. Het is niet mogelijk om zelf je archief en/of collectie in te voeren.
