Flemish Government
De Department of Arts belongs to the policy domain Culture, Youth and Media (CYM). The Department of Arts is the executor of the arts policy of the Flemish Government.
As an excutor of the Flemish Government's policy, the Department of Arts actively contributes to the development of a qualitative and diverse (professional) arts landscape.
De afdeling Kunsten heeft als taken:
- erkennen, subsidiëren en toezicht houden
- ondersteunen van commissies
- netwerken binnen de beleidsvelden (nationaal en internationaal)
- beleidsvoorbereiding en beleidsevaluatie
- aansturen van het Frans Masereelcentrum
